What did we do in class today?
Negative Feedback and the Nervous System
Learning Target: I will explain the role of negative and positive feedback in regulation of homeostasis. Pick up lab notebooks and take plant masses. Share data with your group. Calculate percent change in mass. Warm-up: On the feedback handout from yesterday (with food on it), use the diagram to answer the questions on the back. 1. Finish BILL the body, discuss plant response reading 2. Discuss negative and positive feedback 3. Introduce the nervous system HW: 1/31- No homework, study for quiz tomorrow (cell signaling, plant control mechanisms) 2/1- Watch and take notes over Bozeman immune system video in BILL http://www.bozemanscience.com/immune-system 2/4- Watch and take notes over Q10 in STATS SECTION of BILL http://www.bozemanscience.com/q10-the-temperature-coefficientwww.bozemanscience.com/q10-the-temperature-coefficient 2/5- Complete Transpiration lab
