Pick up plicker card, gloves, and goggles. Place plicker card at your regular seat. Report to your lab station 1. Lab analysis 2. POGIL/Plickers/Food Pick up: Lab goggles, gloves (by mailboxes), and plicker cards from mailbox
Sit in lab groups Take out: online lab, lab handouts for both labs Warm-up: Compare and contrast the use of restriction enzymes in the two labs. 1. Finish DNA fingerprint lab (I will stain tonight) 2. pGlo transformation Downtime: POGIL and plickers HW: DNA history, POGIL if incomplete Pick up lab goggles from cabinet.
Warm-up: Explain the purpose of restriction enzymes as they relate to this lab. How will DNA fragments be separated? After warm-up: Read the procedure of the lab in its entirety.
